Woodlands WCE held its Lunch & Learn “How to Improve SEO & Google Ranking” January 17, 2019 at Cilantro’s Mexican Grill located on Sawdust Road. Woodlands WCE polled members on topics for Lunch & Learns and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) was identified as an aspect of business marketing that many members struggle with. SEO Strategist Tracy Robinson, owner of spryART Photography, co-owner of Camp Pixel Project and Mod Mavens + Co., was the speaker.
The presentation was geared toward small business owners who may not have the resources and/or be ready to outsource their company’s SEO. These women serve as their own webmaster and are looking for tools to rank higher in Google searches.
Robinson gave practical, actionable tips that attendees could start applying immediately. She also provided the names of several websites designed to check the SEO health of business websites and offer the service for free.
“Today’s lunch and learn was great!” said Brandi McRill, co-founder of Cypress Family Farm to Table Kitchen and owner of Flourishing Fern, who drove in from Cypress to attend the event. “I learned SO MUCH in a short period of time. Very impressed!” she continued. “Happy I found y’all. I will be looking to take more of your lunch and learns in the future!”
