Woodlands WCE’s December Lunch & Learn was held December 4, 2018 at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The speaker was attorney and Woodlands WCE member Leigh Freeman, who focuses on legal issues specific to small businesses. The topic was “Top 5 Legal Traps for the Unwary.”
Members were able to network and meet before the presentation. Although none of the information was legal advice, Freeman was able to cover many salient issues about small business law in her time speaking.
Freeman has been practicing civil law since 2003. She has represented businesses and individuals in a wide variety of fields including franchises, oilfield services, medical, IT, financial services, and energy, to name a few.
In addition to being retained by several Woodlands WCE members for business law issues, she has worked with many business owners in The Woodlands community and is well regarded in her field. Woodlands WCE is proud to have Freeman as a member.
The next Woodlands WCE Lunch & Learn will be January 17, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Although the past two luncheons have been at the The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming, the location for this event will be changed to Cilantro’s on Sawdust Road. It will be presented by Tracy Robinson of spryART Photography and Mod Mavens + Co. Robinson’s topic is “10 SEO Mistakes That Are Killing Your Google Rankings.”
