On December 18, 2018, Woodlands WCE hosted its Brain Brew at Black Walnut Cafe at 9000 New Trails Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77381 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. There were many new women at this event, giving attendees an opportunity to meet new women outside of their regular networking circles and make more connections. Many women were enjoying their conversations so much they decided to stay.
Woodlands WCE’s Brain Brew is a morning meet up designed for women entrepreneurs to network, connect, and collaborate. The meeting creates a dedicated time for members to carve out of their day to gain perspective through other members and to brainstorm ideas for their businesses.
Members bring their business struggles and successes so other women entrepreneurs may learn, offer suggestions, and celebrate successes. Woodlands WCE’s Brain Brew is a platform for women to support each other as they grow their businesses.
Brain Brews generally start with women meeting each other and freely networking. On each table are cards created by Woodlands WCE with questions to get business conversations started so that problem solving may begin. In addition to helping solve issues, members connect as they discuss experiencing the same issues.
During the gathering, Woodlands WCE Founders actively facilitated the moving of members to different tables so they may meet more women. Several attendees noted that they were able to meet many new people than at other networking events due to this format.
Tracy Genovese Robinson, who was in attendance at the Brain Brew, will be Woodlands WCE’s speaker on Improving SEO for Business at its Lunch & Learn January 17, 2019 at Cilantro’s at 314 Sawdust Rd, Spring, TX 77380 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Spots for the event are filling fast.
